UFC 296: Edwards vs. Covington – Fight Card, Start Time & How to Watch

UFC 296: Edwards vs. Covington will take place on December 16, at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
The card is headlined by a massive welterweight title fight between reigning welterweight champion Leon Edwards and former interim champ Colby Covington.
Edwards won and defended his title against Kamaru Usman and hasn’t lost a fight since 2015, while Covington has two title fight losses against Usman.
Flyweight co-main event
In the co-main event, we will see a title fight and rematch between reigning champion Alexandre Pantoja who will take on Brandon Royval.
Pantoja won the belt in June as he defeated Brandon Moreno via unanimous decision. No. 4 ranked Royval rides a three-fight winning streak that dates back to his submission loss to Pantoja back in August 2021.
The UFC 296 fight card also features fighters like Shavkat Rakhmonov, Stephen Thompson and Ian Garry, as well as a high profile lightweight bout between Tony Ferguson and Paddy Pimblett.

US: The early preliminary card is aired on ESPN+ at 6 p.m. ET. The preliminary card starts at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN2/ESPN+. The main card is also aired by ESPN+ PPV, starting at 10 p.m. ET.
