UFC 298 just took place at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.
The card is headlined by a featherweight title bout between reigning champion Alexander Volkanovski and undefeated contender Ilia Topuria.
The first round was an even chess match where both fighters traded kicks. Volkanovski was busy but the challenger landed the heavier shots.
In the second round, Topuria knocked out the champion with a picture perfect right hook to steal the belt. And just like that the UFC has a new featherweight champion.
”Conor McGregor, if you still have some balls I will be waiting for you in Spain,” Topuria said in his post-fight interview.
