Dana White reveals date for UFC 300 main event fight announcement!

Dana White UFC 300 main event announcement MMA fight news

Fight fans around the world eagerly await news regarding what fight will be the UFC 300 main event.

Speculations are running wild, fan expectations are high and with less than two months left, the promotion appears to be scrambling or at least exploring multiple different options in a situation that seems to be very fluid.

However, the much-anticipated announcement could finally be coming at this weekend’s post-fight press conference immediately following the UFC 298 pay-per-view. That’s according to UFC CEO Dana White, who had this to say during an interview with Kevin Iole on the longtime MMA journalist’s Youtube channel:

“Yeah, I’ll probably … I’ll probably announce it … Maybe I’ll announce it at the [post-fight] press conference this weekend.”

UFC 300 main event: Who will headline UFC 300?

It remains to be seen if the UFC 300 main event does in fact get announced this weekend. With White’s comments in mind, it’s definitely worth to tune in for the UFC 298 post-fight press conference livestream which you will be able to watch right here on

It’ll certainly be interesting to see which fighters will end up getting the honor of headlining the monumental event in Las Vegas on April 13.

Will Leon Edwards defend the welterweight strap, or will Dricus Du Plessis put his newly-won middleweight championship on the line? Will the UFC 300 main event get a big name like Conor McGregor, Khamzat Chimaev or Israel Adesanya or have those options been ruled out completely?

Is there something to come out of left field?

Hopefully all these questions will be answered this weekend.
