UFC 303 will go down on June 29 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The card is headlined by a super fight between Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler.
UFC CEO Dana White recently confirmed that the numbers are already insane.
“It’s already way over $20 million,” White said at Saturday’s UFC on ESPN 56 post-fight press conference in St. Louis.
There have been several $20 million gates in boxing, however, UFC 303 will mark a first for the sport of MMA.
Andrei Arlovski returns to action
In the shadow of the massive main event, the UFC 303 card is starting to shape up. Recently added to the lineup was a heavyweight matchup where MMA veteran Andrei Arlovski will take on Martin Buday.
Arlovski recently turned 45 and made his promotional debut back in November 2000 at UFC 28 and his next outing marks his 42 (!) UFC fight.
Undefeated prospect Payton Talbott returns
UFC bantamweight prospect Payton Talbott will have the chance to further build his career in the UFC.
After two stoppage wins in two performances, Talbott will take on Yanis Ghemmouri on June 29.
