On Saturday, UFC returns with a stacked card at the Apex in Las Vegas.
In the pivotal flyweight main event, red-hot Swedish-Iraqi prospect Amir Albazi is set to take on No. 3 ranked Kai Kara-France.
No. 7 ranked Albazi is undefeated in the UFC with four straight wins in the promotion, while Kara-France comes from interim title fight loss against current champion Brandon Moreno.
With a win, Albazi would make a strong case for a title shot in the near future.
The UFC on ESPN 46 prelims features veteran and former UFC heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski who will take on Don’Tale Mayes.
Swedish middleweight Jack Hermansson was scheduled to headline the card but was forced to pull out due to an injury.
The card also featured Swedish-Georgian lightweight Guram Kutateladze who was scheduled to take on Jamie Mullarkey in the main card opener. However, Kutateladze pulled out of the fight and was replaced by UFC newcomer Muhammadjon Naimov.
