There is a new contender in the women’s bantamweight division.

Mayra Bueno Silva scored her biggest win to date when she tapped out former champion Holly Holm with a second-round standing guillotine choke.

After the fight, the Brazilian called for a shot for the currently vacant bantamweight title.

“I do what I said. Now I want the belt because I deserve it,” Bueno Silva shouted. “Nobody finish like me. I deserve the belt. Hey Julianna Pena, let’s go. I deserve this, you deserve this. The people deserve this. I finish my fights. I give a show for everybody.”

“This belt is my belt. This belt is Amanda’s belt. This belt is a Brazilian belt. This is for Amanda Nunes. This is for my country.”

In the co-main event, UFC newcomer Bassil Hafez tested the hyped Jack Della Maddalena in a back-and-forth battle. After three even rounds, Della Maddalena stood as the winner vua split decision.

$50,000 bonuses

The $50,000 Performance of the Night bonuses went to Francisco Prado and Mayra Bueno Silva, while the $50,000 Fight of the Night went to Jack Della Maddalena vs. Bassil Hafez.
