UFC Singapore is live at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang.
The card is headlined by a featherweight fight between former champion Max Holloway and the seasoned veteran “Korean Zombie”.
Both fighters gave it all from the start, trading shots on the feet in an electric first round.
In the second round, “Blessed” went for a submission attempt that seemed to have his opponent in trouble, however, “Zombie” was able to escape.
In the first minute of the third, Holloway knocked out his opponent with a heavy right hand to win the fight.
“I’m going to stop fighting,” Korean Zombie said in the post-fight interview.
“I’ve always aimed to become a champion when I first started the sport. I’m not here to be ranked third, fourth or fifth. I tried my absolute best to prepare for Max Holloway. I really, really believed I could beat him but I ended up failing so I don’t think I have the opportunity anymore. I think I’m going to stop fighting.”
