At UFC Vegas 52, former strawweight champion Jessica Andrade wrote history when she forced No. 10-ranked Amanda Lemos to tapout in the the opening round. This is the first time ever a UFC fighter wins by standing arm-triangle choke.

The fight was Andrade’s first strawweigth bout since losing a split-decision to Rose Namajunas at UFC 251, back in 2020.

In the first round of the co-main event, Claudio Puelles locked up a kneebar that made veteran Clay Guida tap. Puelles is now on a impressive five-fight win streak.

The Fight of the night bonus went to Dwight Grant and Sergey Khandozhko for their fight on the prelims.

The Performance of the night bonuses went to Claudio Puelles and Jessica Andrade for their first round submission wins in the co-main and main event.
