The main event of UFC Vegas 63 between Calvin Kattar and Arnold Allen turned out to end in a nightmare for “The Boston Finisher”.

In the competetive first round, Kattar injured his right knee, and at the start of the second round, the knee gave up completely, which led to an injury TKO win for Allen.

The Brit now rides a 12-fight winning streak, with ten straight victories in the UFC.

After the win, Allen called out for a chance to compete for an interim featherweight title, or face champion Alexander Volkanovski who might go up to lightweight, for the undisputed featherweight title.

“I’m devastated. Volkanovski asked the guys to make a statement and it’s another injury you know, TKO by injury. I can’t really ask for a title shot off this. Maybe give me the interim job. If Volkanovski is gonna be out for awhile you know, going up in weight. Give me the interim shot, I feel like I deserve it,” Allen said in the post-fight interview.
