UFC Vegas 91 took place at the Apex in Las Vegas and was headlined by a flyweight bout between top ranked Matheus Nicolau and Alex Perez.
Perez pressured early, hardly taking a step back the entire fight. In the second round Nicolau found himself retreating towards the fence where he was caught by a vicious uppercut that immediately knocked him out.
Perez new enters the win column for the first time since 2020.
In the prelims we saw Norway’s Ivana Petrovic take on the experienced Liang Na in a flyweight bout. Petrovic utilised her superior grappling to get her opponent to the canvas where she eventually found the arm triangle – forcing Na to tap.
