Undefeated MMA champion signs with UFC – competes in the most stacked division!

Undefeated Jaqueline Amorim recently signed with UFC and will compete in the deep strawweight division, which must be considered being the most stacked division for women. The promotion has not yet announced an opponent or date for the Brazilian’s debut fight.

Amorim is the LFA strawweight champion and has a professional record of 6-0, including a impressive 10-second KO over Megan Owen as well as a 33-second submission against Taisha Gandy.

Jaqueline Amorim has an impressive BJJ background

Even though Amorim is fairly new to MMA, she has an impressive Brazilian jiu-jitsu background with wins in the IBJJF World Championship and IBJJF World No-Gi Championship.

Now she is ready for the biggest stage in MMA.

“Its official!! Ya girl is in the UFC!!,” Amorim he wrote on Instagram. “It’s a beginning of dream coming true, since I started BJJ when I was 6 year old and I used to watch mma on the tv with my dad, I knew I wanted to do this to my life and the day is finally here. Thank you my management team and my coaches, you guys are awesome! We trusted the process and paid off. Thank you UFC for the opportunity I can’t wait to fight under the big lights!!”
