In February undefeated Tatiana Suarez returned to UFC action after a three-and-a-half year hiatus as she defeated Montana De La Rosa in a flyweight bout.
On August 5, the No. 10 ranked strawweight will be back in her old weight class for a bout against No. 6 ranked Virna Jandiroba.
Former Invicta FC strawweight champ Jandiroba has back-to-back wins against Angela Hill and Marina Rodriguez. Of her 19 profesional MMA wins, 13 have come via submission.
Tatiana Suarez is a two-time bronze medalist in the world championships of freestyle wrestling and made her UFC debut in 2016. She’s undefeated as a professional martial artist with a record of 9-0, with six wins coming by way of stoppage.
Her most notable wins came against former strawweight champion Carla Esparza and current flyweight champion Alexa Grasso.
The UFC Fight Night event on August 5 line up will also include a light heavyweight bout between Dustin Jacoby and Kennedy Nzechukwu, as well as a light heavyweight fight between former heavyweight Tanner Boser and Aleksa Camur.
