Updated UFC rankings: Amir Albazi is closing in on the Top 5!

This past Saturday, rising flyweight star Amir Albazi continued his successful run in the UFC as he finished Alessandro Costa at the Apex in Las Vegas.
Albazi is undefeated in the promotion with four straight wins, three coming by way of stoppage.

At the UFC Vegas 66 post-fight press conference, the 29-year old flyweight fighter claimed that he is ready to enter the very top of the stacked division.
“I’ve already submitted two blackbelts before, so I wanted to put on a really good performance to show I’m a different level than these guys and that I’m ready for the top five. I’m ready for that belt. I hope you guys saw that,” Albazi said. “Just keep them coming, and I’ll keep taking them out.”
When UFC recently updated the flyweight rankings, Albazi climbed to the No. 7 spot. Check out the rankings below!

Massive flyweight fights coming up
In the next months, the absolute top of the division are booked for interesting fights.
In January, a title bout between champion Deiveson Figueiredo and interim champion Brandon Moreno will take place at UFC 283.
In February, No. 3 ranked Kara-France is scheduled to face No. 6 ranked Alex Perez at UFC 284.
