Fight fans still debate who won the super fight between heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury and former UFC heavyweight champ Francis Ngannou.

Fury admitted he had a bad night at the office but is still confident he did enough to win, even though he got knocked down in round 3.

“I felt my timing was quite off,” Fury recently told Boxing King Media. “I’ve been out of the ring for nearly a year – a little bit of ring rust, but it was what it was. It was far from one of my best performances. It wasn’t a vintage Tyson Fury, but listen, you do what you have to do to get through and on to the next one.”

Fury claimed the if he trained as hard as he did, he wouldn’t have gotten through the fight.

“He punches hard, but it was a bit like a hunk on the back of the head in that knockdown in Round 3. Apart from that, he didn’t really get me with much else,” Fury said. “You can’t take anything away from Francis Ngannou. He’s a good fighter and gave me a good fight, and that was it.”

Francis Ngannou: ”I won that fight”

Franics Ngannou, however, feeled like he did enough but claimed he could never get a decision win in boxing due to biased judging.

“I won that fight. There’s no question about it. Even before getting here, I knew if this fight gets to a decision, I’m not winning – not because I didn’t do good, (but) because I’m the new guy in the house,” Ngannou told ESPN.
