BKFC 56 results: Mike Perry finishes Eddie Alvarez, crowned “King of Violence”

Former UFC fighter Mike Perry and former UFC lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez just clashed in one of the most anticipated bareknuckle bouts of 2023.

It was a fast-paced, back and forth fight throughout the coarse of two rounds. However Alvarez was struck by a hard blow just below the eye, causing it to swell badly. After the second round Alvarez had an honest talk with his coach Mark Henry, confessing that he couldn’t see out of the eye, causing the corner to stop the fight.

“I work on the head movement and sh*t, but the last fight went so easily, I just wanted to have a battle, so I let him get some shots off,” Perry said. “Who owns combat sports now? The ‘King of Violence’ Platinum Mike Perry!”

In the women’s flyweight title bout

Women’s flyweight champion Christine Ferea took on Bec Rawlings in a title bout.

Ferea was dominant throughout, winning every single round of their rematch and securing a clear-cut unanimous decision with 50-45 scores across the boards.
