Sunday’s exhibition boxing bout between former world champion Floyd Mayweather and John Gotti III, grandson of an infamous New York mobster, ended up in total mayhem.

Gotti was disqualified for repeatedly grabbing Mayweather, which resulted in a brawl between the boxer’s entourages inside the ring.

After the fight, Gotti took to social media to declare “Money” his enemy.

“Punk bitch, Floyd Mayweather, you my enemy for life,” Gotti wrote in an Instagram story.

“Bum never put me down or stopped me,” Gotti wrote in a second Instagram Story. “It was a DQ for no reason.”

The 30-year-old also tagged UFC superstar Conor McGregor, writing; “We need backup.”

Conor McGregor was quick to respond and appears to have chosen sides in the feud between Mayweather Jr. and Gotti III.

“I back the Gottis,” McGregor wrote in a since-deleted tweet. “The war is on.”

McGregor fought Mayweather in the famous crossover bout in August 0f 2017 dubbed “The Money Fight”. The Irish MMA fighter lost the boxing bout via TKO.

Since then, the two rivals hinted that a rematch is destined to happen eventually.
