Muay Thai World Championships – Swedish results from Thursday’s competitions

The 2023 IFMA Senior World Championships take place in Bangkok, Thailand, between May 3-13.

On Thursday, three Swedish fighters competed in the tournament’s youth finals.

After a very successful tournament, Vilda Ekhorn defeated Dung Nguyen Thi to secure a gold medal in the 54 kilo division. In the 71 kilo division, Dalian Dawody put on another great performance as he won gold in his fight against Ilan Rachid from France.

In the 60 kilo division, Antonia Drevenlid won a silver medal in her fight against Vietnam’s Nguyen Thi Phuong Hau.

On Tuesday, Emilia Koivisto secured the bronze medal in the 57 kilo division.

2023 IFMA Senior Muay Thai World Championships

The 2023 IFMA Senior World Championships marks the 30th Anniversary of the International Federation of Muaythai Associations. More than 100 countries will take part in the tournament.
