Heavyweight boxing champion Oleksandr Usyk will defend his WBA, WBO, IBF and IBO heavyweight titles against Daniel Dubois on Saturday. The fight takes place at the Tarczynski Arena in Wroclaw, Poland.
Many fight fans had hoped that Usyk would face WBC champ Tyson Fury in an undisputed heavyweight fight, but the British boxer will clash with former UFC champion Francis Ngannou in a few months.
Dubois has a 19-1 pro boxing record with 18 wins coming by knockout.
Anthony Yigit returns to action
Swedish boxer Anthony Yigit also competes on the card as he’s facing Denys Berinchyk for the WBO International Title in lightweight. The winner will be ranked as a top contender for the WBO lightweight title. This is the third time the Swedish boxer fights for an International Title.
Yigit and Berinchyk fought a highly entertaining fight in the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, with the Ukrainian coming out as the winner.
