Undefeated boxing superstars Terence Crawford and Errol Spence Jr. have agreed to fight for the undisputed welterweight championship on July 29 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
The fight has been described as the most anticipated boxing match since the super fight between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao back in 2015.
According to Coppinger, both boxers will make tons of money as eight figures are guaranteed for the Showtime PPV fight. The contract will also have a rematch clause that the loser can trigger within 30 days after the bout.
Terence Crawford and Errol Spence Jr are the two absolute best welterweights in the world, but never faced each other in the ring.
The fight will not only decide who’s the king of the welterweights, but the winner could possibly claim to be the No.1 boxer in the world regardless of weight.
Undefeated with 39 wins, Crawford has held multiple world championships in three weight classes, and currently holds the WBO welterweight belt.
Spence Jr is also undefeated with 28 wins, and holds the WBA, WBC and IBF welterweight titles.
He represented the US in the 2012 London Olympics where he made it to the quarter finals.
