French MMA fighter and Ares FC double champion Damien “Walking Dead” Lapilus has had four recent fight results overturned by the French MMA Federation due to doping violations, resulting in four disqualifications and one no-contest.
That’s according to Steven Kelliher, Director of Data Acquisition and Quality at Tapology.com.
“French MMA Federation not screwing around when it comes to anti-doping. Damien Lapilus has had four recent bout results overturned due to repeated violations, resulting in four Disqualifications and a No Contest (when his opponent also tested positive.),” Kelliher wrote in a recent Tweet.

At the moment it’s not clear what substance Damien Lapilus tested positive for, nor how French MMA promotion ARES FC will handle the situation.
Lapilus won the lightweight belt in ARES FC after defeating Amin Ayoub via decision. He later moved down to featherweight to defeat Marco Beltran via TKO to become a double champion in the promotion.
