Sanny Dahlbeck announces retirement from combat sports: “It’s hard to comprehend”

Highly decorated Muay Thai and kickboxing champion Sanny Dahlbeck has decided to hang up his gloves for good.
In a new video, the 31-year-old Swedish striker announced his retierment from combat sports.
“I have decided to retire from competition and stop fighting. It’s hard to comprehend for me,” Dahlbeck said. “I really want to thank everyone who has been with me during my career. It’s been awesome to fight all around the world, to win and to lose. That’s something I will never forget.”
“Thanks to my coaches, who’s been with me from day one, and thanks to everyone who helped me become the best fighter I could be. I hope I can share my knowledge and experiece with others and stick around in Muay Thai. Thank you very much.”

Sanny Dahlbeck is a highly decorated fighter
Sanny Dahlbeck is one of the most exciting Muay Thai and Kickboxers Sweden has ever seen.
The 31-year-old has multiple Swedish Championship’s to his name, and in 2012, he became the WMC Nordic Muay Thai welterweight champion,
Three years later, in March 2015, he won the Yokkao World title in the 70 kilo weight class as he TKO’d Jordan Watson in the fourth round.
Dahlbeck also fought in combat sports organization K-1, where he competed in several of the promotion’s weight classes. In 2017 he made it to the semi finals in the K-1 World GP Super Middleweight Championship Tournament.
The last fight of his long career took place at West Coast Battle 13 in Sweden on June 11 last year.
