Yoel Romero is one of the toughest fighters alive – but he has one weakness.

That became very clear as the Cuban MMA veteran skipped the recent Bellator 297 press conference when he found out it was held 99 stories above ground in Chicago’s Willis Tower building.

“Turns out he’s not scared of much, can we agree on that,” Chael Sonnen said at the press conference. “Turns out he’s scared of heights.”

“Everybody’s got a kryptonite –  now we know what Yoel’s is.”

“He apologizes to everybody, but getting inside that building is a fight that he knows he’s not going to win,” Romero’s translator said.
