We just saw a red-hot Scandinavian derby as Sweden’s Moe Ahmadi and Denmark’s Rick Gangia clashed in a catchweight bout (73 kilo) at FCR 14.
Ahmadi controlled the fight from the start with creative striking and good takedown defence. Halfway into the first round, he took the fight to the ground where he worked on a rear-naked-choke that finally forcer Gangia to tap.

Moe Ahmadi moves to 4-4
In the post-fight interview, the Swede opened up on the massive win.
”He was stronger than I thought,” Ahmadi. ”People are sleeping on me.”
”Thank God I got the tap. Don’t want to lose in Västerås,” Ahmadi said.
With the win Moe Ahmadi is 4-4 as a professional fighter, with no fights going the distance.
