Bilal Tipsaev comments on unfortunate pull-out: ”I wanted to fight there and then”

Swedish bantamweight prospect Bilal Tipsaev was scheduled to fight at this past Saturday’s Sparta Fighting Championship 3 in Vienna, Austria.

However, at the medical check before the fight, Tipsaev’s blood pressure was too high and he did not pass the check. The fighter himself revealed the news on Instagram.

”Unfortunately after medical check I wasn’t in fighting condition to step in to the cage tonight. Thanks to my team that came with me and believes in me,” Tipsaev wrote.

Käftsmällspodden’s Andres Viracca, who met up with the Swedish prospect at the Vienna airport, got a quick interview for Frontkick with the Swedish prospect.

”It was really tough to be there, feel the atmosphere and then not be able to fight. I will fight again as soon as I check what’s going on with my body,” Tipsaev said about the unfortunate situation.

The Swede revealed that he had problems with his balance ahead of the fight, and got cortisol shot’s in his neck. Now he needs to x-ray his neck to find out what the problem is.

When do you want to return to the cage again?

”I wanted to fight there and then, but the doctors would not let me. I want to fight again as soon as my body is ready.”

Last time Bilal Tipsaev stepped into the cage he defeated Lucas Pereira via unanimous decision in a hard fight at Allstars Fight Night 1.
