UFC Austin: Arman Tsarukyan scores 64 second finish

UFC on ESPN 52 just took place in Austin, Texas, with a lightweight main event between Beneil Dariush and Arman Tsarukyan as a headliner.

The top-tier affair would be a short one as Tsarukyan landed a devastating combination early with a brutal knee sandwiched between two right hands. Tsarukyan would follow up with ground and pound, sealing a victory in the first round.

Following the emphatic win Tsaukyan would go on to ask for a title shot against Islam Makhachev.

Jalin Turner took on Bobby Green

In the co-main event, Jalin Turner took on Bobby Green in a lightweight bout. Unfortunately the fight would be marred by a controversial referee stoppage.

Turner looked stellar, landed two overhand rights that dropped and seemed to finish Green. Turner would then land 19 unanswered punches before the referee stopped the fight, getting derided by the MMA community and UFC president Dana White.
