The upcoming clash between Akonne Wanliss and Sahil Siraj has quickly become the most hyped OKTAGON fight of 2024.
This time, Wanliss will fight on his home turf in Birmingham and is more than confident that he will get it done quickly in front of his fans.
“Ultimately, you can never decide what is going to happen in the fight; all I can do is bring my skills and unleash the force, and that’s what I say every time,” Wanliss said at a media day ahead of his fight.
“When I unleash the force, which I do every single time, somebody goes to sleep, whether I choke you out or I knock you out, I’ve got a 100% finishing rate, I come to finish.”
All of the 184 centimeter tall Bellator veteran’s wins have come via stoppage, and he intends to stop his rival in the first round on Saturday.
“So, Siraj will get finished and I predict round one, three minutes and 33 seconds, Siraj will go to sleep. He has a little bit of a gas tank issue, so if he survives to round two, he’s dead.”
Siraj, also known as the “The Knockout Prince”, has finished more than 50 percent of his opponents within 2 minutes and has his mind set on getting his hand raised whatever it takes.
“The only thing in my head is to beat this guy”, Siraj told Frontkick in an exclusive interview.
