On Saturday the 29th of July Cage Warriors returns to Rome!
The main event is a fight in flyweight, where the current champion Shaj Haque put his title on the line against the Italian fighter Michele Martignoni! Haque has a record of 15-5, and he’s coming from his latest win against Sam Creasey on Cage Warriors 148. The Italian fighter Martignoni has a record of 8-1, and last time we saw him in the cage was at Cage Warriors 144. He faced Dominique Wooding and Martignoni won the fight via unanimous decision.
In the co-main event we’ll see another Italian fighter, Dario Belladi with a record of 5-1, take place in the octagon to face Naglis Kanisauskas (6-2) from Lithuania!
Except from these amazing fights, it’ll be a great pleasure to watch the Swedish MMA-star Amir Malekpour make his debut at Cage Warriors! He’s fighting the Albanian fighter Florian Doskja in a catchweight fight.
Malekpour has a record of 4-2, with some successful victories against fighters as Safiullah Husseini, Mack Promanee and Ilaz Zabeli. His opponent Doskjas record is 5-2, and he’s coming from his latest win against Silvio Marigo, via a guillotine choke in the first round.
