Swedish pro boxer Goran Babic will defend his WBC Mediterranean cruiserweight title on April 13. The Swedish-Serbian boxer will take on Jonathan Kogasso from Democratic Republic Of The Congo on a boxing card in Milano.

Visiting Swedish fighting podcast Käftsmällspodden, Babic talked about the upcoming title defense.

“I’m on the map, I’m on the official WBC rankings,” Babic said. “When I win this fight, everything will be a little bit better. I will move up even more in the world rankings and WBC rankings.”

Kogasso is undefeated with a 10-0 record but Babic is well prepared for the fight.

“When you had as much time as I had to prepare for the fight, you put a lot of energy on tactics and game plan. Ahead of this fight it’s been like ‘this is how we will train, this is what we will focus on’.”

“I am a tactical boxer. I like to build up the fight and build up the rounds. I’m a long distance boxer even if I have knockout power. I like technical and strategic boxing.”
