Olympic gold medalist and former two-division UFC Champion Henry Cejudo has been recruited to Danish MMA promotion Dominance FC. He will be a part of the broadcast team.

“What I bring to the commentating team is my credentials, my experience, and my honesty,” Cejudo said in a press release.” I’m a person that is honest. I don’t take sides. I want to make sure, that I’m giving the right assessments, and that I’m being as truthful as I possibly can. To me it’s all fair game. Whether you’re a wrestler, a muay thai fighter or a jiu-jitsu world champion, it doesn’t matter, I will sit there and tell the truth. There’s a lot of commercial guys in there [the sport] that just want to be good guys, but not all fans are always going to like you. We have to give proper assessments.”

“Sky is the limit” for Dominance FC

The first Dominance FC event will go down on September 21 in K.B. Hallen in Copenhagen, Denmark. The former former two-division UFC champion has high hopes for the promotion’s future in the European MMA scene.

“I think the sky is the limit. What Mark is doing, he’s transitioning from Olympian to former UFC fighter, and now he’s becoming a promoter. He’s going to be able to give opportunities to so many European talents, and [Dominance FC] will become the Mecca and the home to a lot of fighters from Europe, and possibly a feeder to the UFC.”

The first Dominance FC fight card will feature local fighters as well as athletes from all over the world, including the Scandinavian countries.
