It looks like Swedish MMA fighter Andreas “Bane” Gustafsson (11-2) will make his UFC debut in January!
According to reports from Frontkick’s sister site Maximum Sports, “Bane” will likely face Preston Parsons (11-5) at a UFC Fight Night event on January 11.
“The contract is signed! Looking forward to my first UFC fight,” Gustafsson wrote on social media.
In thirteen fights, “Bane” has only seen the judges scorecards three times. He will enter the octagon with three straight TKO wins. He defeated Pat Pytlik with a brutal performance at Dana White’s Contender Series in August to secure a UFC contract.
Parsons has alternated wins with losses in his five previous UFC bouts and is in big need of a win in a possible clash with the Swede. He faced tough opponents like Oban Elliott and Daniel Rodriguez.
