European MMA is booming! In this weekly series, Frontkick.online puts the spotlight on European MMA fighters who deserve international recognition!

Two-promotion champion Pawel Pawlak is a true veteran of the game and currently holds the KSW middleweight title. The 35-year-old comes from a kickboxing background but has developed an aggressive and well-rounded fighting style over his 14 years as a pro MMA fighter.

Pawlak started his career by pulling off an impressive 10-0 record in Polish organizations and eventually got UFC’s attention. After three fights in the world’s leading promotion, where he faced Leon Edwards among others, he returned to the European scene where he continued to wreak havoc.

In 2020 Pawlak won the vacant Babilon MMA Middleweight Championship and three years later he laid his hands on the KSW belt, marking a significant milestone in his career. In his first title defense he defeated the tough Michal Materla and in July 2024, he successfully defended his belt once again, this time against Damian Janikowski.

Pawlak has remained undefeated since 2018 and currently rides a nine-fight winning streak. This remarkable run solidifies his reputation as one of the most impressive fighters in Europe.
