Khamzat Chimaev is ranked No. 1 at the Official Swedish MMA Rankings for welterweights.

The Official Swedish MMA Rankings was recently updated, and now it’s time to take a look at the middleweights.

Even though Khamzat Chimaev just fought at welterweight and catchweight during 2022, he still claims the No. 1 spot on the updated Swedish middleweight rankings.

Chimaev started the year with a massive welterweight win against Gilbert Burns and then secured a quick stoppage win against Kevin Holland in September. In 2023 he might be the second Swede to fight for a UFC title.

At No. 2 on the middleweight MMA rankings, we find UFC veteran Jack Hermansson. “The Joker” fought three tough fights in 2022, against Sean Strickland, Chris Curtis and Roman Dolidze.

Andreas “Bane” Gustafsson enters the rankings at No. 3, after he TKO’d Lukasz Dziudzia in his comeback at FCR 14. At the No. 6 spot, we find Stockholm’s Nabbe Malki who made his anticipated professional debut at FCR 13 in Stockholm.
