Swedish wonderchild Smilla “The Hurricane” Sundell was booked for defense of her strawweight title against former title holder Jackie Buntan – but will now face atomweight champ Allycia Hellen Rodrigues in a champ versus champ superfight!
ONE Championship dropped the news via social media, also clarifying why Buntan had to pull out.
“Jackie Buntan had to withdraw from her fight against Sundell due to a family matter,” the promotion wrote on Instagram. “We wish her all the best at this time.”

Won the title at just 17
Sundell made history by becoming the youngest ONE champion in history at just 17 years old. Since then she has had issues finding opponents but she did completely bulldoze Milana Bjelogrlic en route to a unanimous decision victory in kickboxning.
Rodrigues defeated Stamp Fairtex in her first bout in ONE, winning the atomweight championship. Since then she has defended it against Janet Todd.
