Paddy Pimblett is one of the biggest stars of the Manchester show this Saturday.

Still undefeated, with all the eyes on him, there’s a lot of pressure going into the cage at the Co-op Live.

“At the start of this camp, I will be honest with you, with having two babies, mentally I was not all there about six weeks ago,” Pimblett told the UFC. “In the end, this has been one of the best camps I ever had, you know what I mean.”

Talking to SkySports, Pimblett revealed that the fight was close to being cancelled.

“About five or six weeks ago my coach was thinking about pulling me out. Mentally I just wasn’t there,” Pimblett said.

The Liverpudlian will take on Booby Green who’s known to be one of the most unorthodox boxers in the promotion. The fight will go down on the main card and is one of the most anticipated bouts of UFC 304.

“Bobby talks a lot of shit. He’s an ego maniac. He talks about me being cocky, and he’s one of the most cocky fighters I have ever seen in my life,” Pimblett said.” I’m going to fucking hit him on the chin, he’s going down. I’m going to show everyone he’s a fake Tupac. With all his fake chains.”

The Manchester card is headlined by a welterweight title fight where reigning champion Leon “Rocky” Edwards will take on top ranked challenger Belal “Remember the Name” Muhammad.
