Abdul-Kareem Al-Selwady is out of his lightweight fight against Guram Kutateladze on August 3 at Etihad Arena on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi.
That’s according to Frontkick’s sources.
At the moment, it’s not clear if the promotion is looking for a new opponent for Kutateladze.
Guram Kutateladze had bad luck
The Swedish-Georgian fighter had more than his fair share of bad luck over the past few years. Many of his fights have been cancelled due to injuries and opponents pulling out. He is so far 1-2 in the UFC.
Kutateladze is looking to snap a two-fight losing skid after setbacks to tough fighters like Elves Brenner and Damir Ismagulov.
The current lineup for the Abu Dhabi card now looks like following:
