Cage Warriors 148 is underway in London. Kicking off the new year’s eve fight card was a featherweight showdown between Swedish Muay Thai champion and rising MMA star Samuel “Sammon Decker” Bark and Dutch BJJ black belt Orlando Wilson Prins.

This was pretty much a classic striker vs. grappler showdown where Wilson Prins did everything in his power to get Bark down to the ground. But while the Dutchman initially managed to rack up some control time in round one, Bark came back stronger in the second and third round. The Swede defended well, reversed position to end up on top a couple of times and took every opportunity to land strikes throughout the later rounds.

In the end, Bark was announced as the winner by way of unanimous decision with a pair of 29-28’s as well as a 30-27 scorecard.

Samuel Bark has fought seven times in 2022

With the win, Samuel Bark moves to 8-1 in MMA. He continues to be the most active professional MMA fighter in Sweden as he just fought for the seventh time in 2022.

Bark is now 3-0 in Cage Warriors and he’s currently riding a four-fight win streak. His lone loss came against fellow Swedish prospect Alexander Lööf by way of split decision earlier this year – a loss that he hopes to avenge in 2023.

Besides a possible rematch against Lööf, Bark has his eyes set on the UFC. As always, he plans to continue staying active and as the worldwide leader starts to hold events in Europe more regularly again, it wouldn’t be a surprise if Bark got a shot at the big leagues in the near future.

For Orlando Wilson Prins, the loss against Bark puts him back to 3-2 as a pro. The Dutchman is now 0-2 in Cage Warriors with both losses coming by way of decision.
