On the main card of the New Year’s Eve Cage Warriors 148 show in London, Swedish featherweight standout Tobias ”Bad Intention” Harila returned to the cage to square off against undefeated American Damon Wilson.
Harila, one of Sweden’s hottest MMA prospect, managed to pull off a massive knockout victory in the second round to return to the win column and advance to 11-3 as a pro.
Initially, Wilson found some success utilizing his wrestling. However, Harila showed good takedown defence and bounced back up to his feet rather quickly when he got taken down. In the striking department, the Swede landed the cleaner shots and even cut his opponent pretty badly in the first round.

In round two, Tobias Harila’s takedown defence was even more on point which seemed to give him even more confidence in letting his hands go. Just over a minute into the round, Harila landed a perfectly-timed elbow that sent Wilson to the canvas. A few more shots on the ground was enough for referee Marc Goddard to step in and call a stop to the bout, saving the wobbled American from absorbing unnecessary damage.
Harila is now 3-2 in Cage Warriors. This was a much-needed win considering Harila has had his eyes set on the promotional title and ultimately a future UFC career.
As for Damon Wilson, he falls to 5-1 as a pro and 1-1 in Cage Warriors.
