Superior Challenge 25 just took place at Annexet in Stockholm.
In the main event, Bartosz Wojcikiewicz took on Carlos Abreu Souza in a three-round bantamweight bout.
The hometown hero Wojcikiewicz had the crowd with him as he entered the cage. The fight turned out to be a gruelling battle where the Swede dominated his short notice opponent from Brazil. Most of the fight took place on the mat where Wojcikiewicz controlled the action, landing good ground-and-pound.
Abreu had some good moments druing the fight, but the hometown fighter was too much to handle for him. After the final bell, Wojcikiewicz stood as the winner via unanimous decision.
“Thanks to everyone that came to cheer for me,” Wojcikiewicz said in the post-fight interview.
Andreas “Real Steel” Ståhl won the welterweight title
In the co-main event, Andreas “Real Steel” Ståhl put on a massive performance as he TKO’d Paulo Silva to win the welterweight title. The Swede dominated the first round completely, and in the second, he turned it up even more, finishing his opponent with brutal ground-and-pound to win the Superior gold.
“I went all in to finish the fight, and I did,” Ståhl said in the post-fight interview.
We also saw red-hot MMA prospect Samuel “Sammon Decker” Bark defeat seasoned veteran Jerry Kvarnström with a dominant performance. Bark TKO’d the Finnish veteran in the first round, securing his fourth straight win.
