Short notice replacement Ellenor Sundqvist just took on Indy Briar in the opening fight at Superior Challenge 25 in Stockholm.

In the first round Briar got Sundqvist on the back foot from the start. One minute into the round, the UK fighter took the fight to the ground where she landed some heavy ground-and-pound. However, the Swede was able to wither the storm.

The second round started with pressure from the Brit who took the fight to the canvas right away. Briar continued in the same fashion as in the first round, landing strikes from the top, but Sundqvist defended well. In the third, Briar took down her opponent in the first seconds and controlled the round.

After the final bell, Briar stood as the winner via unanimous decision.

”Massive respect to my opponent,” Briar said in the post-fight interview.
