This past Saturday, Swedish boxer Agnes Alexiusson once again showed that she’s on a very high international level.
At the 42nd International GeeBeeBoxing Tournament in Helsinki, Finland, she won three straight fights to bag the prestigeous gold medal in the 60 kilo division. In the finals she faced the merited amateur world champion Maude van der Toorn from the Neatherlands.

Agnes Alexiusson fought in the Olympics
Alexiusson represented Sweden in the Summer Olympics in Tokyo back in 2021 but did not make it pass the first fight. Earlier this year, however, she defeated Nesthy Petecio, the silver medalist from the Tokyo Olympics, with 5-0 in a fight in Australia.
On the European continent Alexiusson has two bronze medals from the European Championships in 2015 and 2019 as a senior.
