Swedish boxer Badou Jack will soon be back in the ring. On August 20, the former world champion is set to fight undefeated Richard ”Popeye the Sailor Man” Rivera.
”Alhamdulillah we’re back at it on August 20th in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on the undercard of Anthony Joshua vs. Oleksandr Usyk,” Jack recently wrote on social media.
On August 20 heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk will defend the WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, and IBO heavyweight titles against former champion Anthony Joshua.
The fight will be the first defence of Usyk’s world heavyweight titles, while his opponent will have his twelfth consecutive world heavyweight title fight. If Joshua wins he will become a three-time world heavyweight champion.
