Liam Pitts finds first-round submission to win the AFN amateur bantamweight title

The highly anticipated amateur bantamweight title bout between Sweden’s Liam Pitts and three-time Finnish MMA champion Rasmus Vauhkonen just took place at Allstars Fight Night 4 in Stockholm.
The two young bantamweights traded kicks at high pace before Pitts took his opponents back. After just over a minute into the fight he secured a rear-naked-choke that forced Vauhkonen to tap.
And just like that, AFN has an amateur bantamweight champion!
”It feels great. I believed in myself all the way. I came to Allstars when I was 13, I’ve been built up from a bullied kid to what I am now,” Pitts said. ”You can turn everything to something positive. There’s no secret formula, just hard work.”

Liam Pitts is still undefeated
The TV-personality and MMA fighter Liam Pitts has a amateur record of 5-o and has quickly become a star on the Swedish MMA scene.
Before the title fight at Allstars Fight Night 4 he represented Sweden in the 2023 MMA World Championships in Albania.
