Cage Warriors 181 is set to take place on Saturday, November 23, in Newcastle, UK, promising an action-packed night of MMA.
With three title fights on the card and a lineup of exciting prospects, it’s shaping up to be a must-watch event. Here are five fights you won’t want to miss this Saturday!
Harry Hardwick vs. Keweny Lopes

Reigning featherweight champion Harry Hardwick (11-3-1) will face challenger Keweny Lopes (11-1-1) from Brazil in the highly anticipated main event.
The Cage Warriors featherweight division is always deep, with former champs like Jordan Vucenic and Paul Hughes, so it will be very interesting to see Hardwick in his first title defense.
Lopes is a very tough fighter who hasn’t lost since 2016. He’s currently riding a 10-fight winning streak with nine wins coming via stoppage, and will enter the Cage Warriors stage for the very first time. This is exactly the kind of challenger we want to see in a Cage Warriors title fight.
Shajidul Haque vs. Nicolas Leblond

The flyweight title is also on the line as champion Shajidul Haque (16-5) will put his belt on the line against challenger Nicolas Leblond (11-4).
The fight marks the third defense for Haque who won the title in 2022.
Leblond is on a five-fight winning streak that dates back to 2021. Four of the wins have come via stoppage. Be sure to check out this fight!
Justin Burlinson vs. Theodor Berggren

The welterweight matchup between Justin Burlinson (8-2) and Theodor Berggren (6-1) is a highly interesting fight.
Both fighters have a combined record of 14-3, with a 100 percent finishing rate. The Swedish prospect’s six wins has come via first-round stoppage and he’s going into his Cage Warriors debut with four straight wins.
Make sure not to miss this gem of a fight!

The vacant women’s bantamweight belt will get a new owner as undefeated Kennedy Freeman (5-0) takes on Mafalda Carmona (7-2) in an exciting five-rounder.
Freeman is a real powerhouse who finished both her fights in the promotion and she’s looking to add a third straight stoppage win in addition to the Cage Warriors strap.
Portugal’s Carmona fought in various promotions during her career, including major promotion KSW, and Saturday’s title fight will mark her Cage Warriors debut.
James Power vs. Dumitru Girlean

The lightweight fight between promising prospects James Power (7-1) and Dumitru Girlean (8-2) is a great fight on the Cage Warriors 181 fight card.
Just like his name suggests, Power is a heavy-hitting fighter with six of his seven fights coming by way of stoppage.
Just like the Brit, Italy’s Girlean is a real stoppage machine with all of his eight wins coming before the final bell.
In other words, don’t blink when these lightweights collide!
