Charles Oliveira just missed weight for his lightweight title fight against Justin Gaethje at Saturday’s UFC 274. Even though the Brazilian got an additional hour to lose .5 pounds, he did not make the 155-pound limit and has now been stripped of the lightweight title.
According to ESPN, the fight is still on, but only Gaethje can win the title.

Charles Oliveira will be fined for missing weight
Charles Oliveira missed weight on his first attempt, coming in .5 too heavy. On his second attempt, an hour later, he came in at the same weight.
In addition to being stripped of the UFC lightweight title, ”Do Bronx” will also be fined for missig the weight.
Charles Oliveira weighed in over the lightweight title fight limit at 155.5 pounds.
