Conor McGregor shoots down Jake Paul boxing bout: ”A nobody”

Boxer Jake ”Problem Child” Paul is confident that he will eventually meet ”The Notorious” Conor McGregor in the ring. He is sure that McGregor sooner or later will accept the fight because of financial reasons.

”Yeah for sure, I think for me fighting a couple more times, continuing to knock some people out and he has to get active again, who knows when that’s gonna happen?” Paul recently said on The MMA Hour. ”I think those two things need to happen and then at some point it’s gotta happen. Why not? He’s a businessman, I’m a businessman. That’s $75 to $100 million for both of us.”

However, when McGregor heard Jake Paul’s comments, he choose to shot down the YouTuber-turned-professional-boxer on Twitter.

Expected to make his UFC return later this year

”The Notorious” is expected to make his UFC return in end the of the year, or early 2023, after suffering a nasty leg break against Dustin ”The Diamond” Poirier last summer.

Paul will return to action on August 6 when he will face boxer Hasim Rahman Jr. at the classic Madison Square Garden in New York. This will be the first fight for ”Problem Child” since defeating Tyron Woodley last year.
