UFC fan favorite Cub Swanson returns to featherweight, set for tough fight in August

UFC veteran Cub Swanson is moving back up to featherweight for his next outing.
On August 12 the Californian fan favorite will take on Hakeem Dawodu at UFC Vegas 78.
Swanson posted the news of the matchup with Dawodu on his Instagram account on Tuesday.

Cub Swanson is a seasoned vet
Veteran of 41 fights, Swanson most recently competed at UFC Vegas 62, where he made his bantamweight debut.
However, he fell short to Jonathan Martinez who stopped him via a brutal leg kick TKO.
Dawodu also comes into this fight off a loss, as he failed to make weight and lost a unanimous decision to Julian Erosa at UFC 279.

UFC Vegas 78 takes place at the Apex in Las Vegas. The card is headlined by a welterweight bout between finisher Vicente Luque and former lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos.
