The co-main event of Fight Club Rush 12 saw hometown hero Zoran Milic take on Gerard Burns in a flyweight showdown.
To nobody’s surprise, the bout turned out to be a real barn-burner, with Milic earning the victory by decision after three action-packed rounds and an insane ending to the fight.
The first round of the co-main event started at a furious pace. The fight took to the ground with Burns on top. The Irishman controlled the round and landed some heavy shots at the end of the round.
In the start of the second round both fighters traded kicks and heavy shots. On the ground, the Irishman landed an illegal strike and was warned by the referee. At the end of the round Milic had success on the feet.
The third round started competitive on the feet. Milic landed heavy shots to the excitement of the Västerås crowd. The hometown fighter really gave it all and landed some heavy ground and pound in the end of the round.
”I can’t describe the feeling. I love to fight here in my hometown. I f*cking love you, Västerås. Now we go party”, Zoran Milic said after the fight.
