Swedish-Brazilian bantamweight Felipe Lima (13-1) will soon be back for his second UFC fight. At the last card of the year, on December 14, he will take on Miles Johns (15-2) in a very exciting matchup.

The surging UFC fighter made his promotional debut in June and didn’t hesitate for a second when the opportunity came up to face Johns in Florida.

”I’m always going to say yes, no matter what,” Lima says. ”We fight anyone, anywhere, anytime. That’s the mentality you know. That’s who we are. We are fighters.”

Felipe Lima: ”When I got the fight everything changed”

It’s sometimes tough to be a young and promising fighter without an opportunity to show what you can do. Now, when the 26-year-old has a fight booked, life is all sunshine and happiness again.

”The worst thing is to go training everyday, wake up every morning, training, training, training, training. The best thing is when you get a fight and you are ready to perform and the lights is there and you are ready to show all the training you have done. It’s amazing. I’m very glad.”

”I remember when I got the fight,” Lima says with a smile. ”I was a bit depressed like ’oh my God, I just want to fight’. A bit down. But when I got the fight everything changed. You got a reason to live, you know, and since I got this fight it’s been amazing.”

Felipe Lima lives and trains in Stockholm at the world-famous Allstars Training Center. His undefeated teammate Josefine ”Thunder” Knutsson (8-0) will also compete at the card as she takes on Piera Rodriguez (9-2) in her third octagon appearance.
