Brayan Aspegren on clashing with Ebrima Faal: ”My unique style will remain in the minds of the Swedes”

Finland’s Brayan Aspegren will soon embark on a trip over the Baltic Sea to take on Sweden’s Ebrima Faal at Fight Club Rush 18.

The former Finnish National Team fighter is a heavy hitting fighter with a solid boxing background who made his pro MMA debut in flying colours in May.

”I boxed for the first 5 years, after which I started my MMA career, I’ve been doing it for 10 years. I know that I will get where I want to go,” Aspegren told Frontkick’s sister site Maximum Sports.

On November 25 he will face a fellow striker in the dangerous Faal, known for his physique and knockout power. However, the Finnish fighter is not impressed by his opponent, and claimed that the Swede’s spectacular win over fan favorite Nabbe Malki was nothing but a lucky shot.

”He’s a tall motherfucker but nothing special,” Aspegren said.

Brayan Aspegren is a former heavyweight

As a former heavyweight fighting in the middleweight division, Brayan Aspegren is certain that he will match his opponents strength and skills, and put himself on the map of Swedish MMA fans.

”My experience and that I come from the heavyweight division and have fought against real boogey guys. now I dropped this in the series, so I feel strong and fast,” Aspegren said. ”My unique style will remain in the minds of the Swedes.”
