With the title fight main event fallout, FCR 17 took a massive hit just hours before the start.

From a fan side of view, the spectacular card delivered the goods even without the title fight, but for the promotion it’s definitely a big blow to lose a high profile main event on fight day.

The two flyweight rivals are not set to clash in Touma’s first title defense, at FCR 18 on November 25, which of course is reasonable. Hopefully the paperwork and the championship weight will be on point this time.
